Wooden biomass for regional development (OP SI HR – 2013-2015).
Objectives of the project is related to increased and improved exploitation of poorer quality wood for energy purposes, based on the establishment of local production chains. In line with this, the overall objectives also relate to increased economic growth and to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, which contribute to cross-border business cooperation in the exploitation of forest biomass and biomass from fast-growing plantations. Our activities in the project are Analysis of existing users of biomass in the region, Data collection and the establishment of a registry of public buildings, in which the possible use of biomass, Selection (3) local communities to transition to the heating of public buildings with biomass, Preparation of an agreement between raw material suppliers and users, organization.
