Promotion of residual biomass in the Mediterranean basin (MED Programme – 2011- 2014).

The project will develop an integrated strategy for the use of biomass from forests as a renewable energy source. We will contribute to the development of fundamental technical and legal aspects of the use of forest biomass for energy production and cared for her promotion. New frames will be formed for effective forest management on the one hand, and the development of wood biomass from forests chains. Within the project we will carry out necessary studies of availability of biomass in the territory of forests, sustainable management mode with biomass at a sustained impact on ecosystems in forests, a feasibility study of district biomass heating, proposals on relevant municipal acts and calls for the granting of concessions, finding funders and seek help in the construction of district heating systems to biomass (BDH).
