- ERDF LAG Rural Wealth public call, U6: Adapting to climate change and strengthening innovative approaches to natural resource management.
The purpose of the operation "Energy efficiency and renewable energy sources hours at primary schools" is to prepare and implement educational and professional activities on the topic of efficient energy use (EES) and the use of renewable energy sources (RES), which will be carried out at primary schools and kindergartens in the area of the Rural Wealth LAG.
The most important objectives of the operation are:
- Promoting sustainable development while caring for the preservation of nature and environmental protection, and raising awareness among primary school staff and students, and indirectly also their parents and other users of primary school facilities.
- Preparation and implementation of a curriculum to promote sustainable management of natural resources and the environment - with an emphasis on the possibilities of using (local) renewable energy sources (RES) and efficient energy use (UE), which will be intended for primary school students in the area of the Rural Wealth LAG.
- Planning and production of a didactic teaching aid intended for the implementation of a teaching program in the form of a lesson, which will be interesting both for teaching purposes and for developing motor skills.
- Preparation and implementation of professional/consulting activities to raise awareness of the target group about the importance of UE and RES for sustainable development and protection of the environment and nature (preparation of a manual, production of a poster, training of competent personnel for more efficient use of energy in public buildings - primary schools).
- Train competent personnel who directly or indirectly manage energy use in primary schools and kindergartens or can influence it, so that they will implement measures for more efficient energy use and thus contribute to reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.
- Contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment and a more sustainable future.
- Contributing to maintaining an optimal microclimate in public buildings (especially those intended for work and education).
