Increasing the efficiency of the electricity grid and integrating electricity self-sufficiency systems in the Danube Region by incorporating the latest technologies, Acronym: DRiSET
ERDF financial contribution: EUR 42,453.64
The preparation of the follow-up project will be co-financed by the Seed Money Facility – Danube Transnational Programme (SMF – DTP). The objectives of the follow-up project are to accelerate the deployment of the latest technologies (so-called smart edge technologies) and the next generation of smart energy services for the automation of electricity systems in the Danube Region (DR). Special emphasis will be placed on the role of consumers in changing markets.
Project partners develop three outputs: a report on the status of the title area, a work plan for the preparation of a follow-up project, and a report on the financing options for the latter.
The follow-up project will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the network, maximizing the value of distributed energy resources, strengthening competitiveness in the energy sector by establishing energy production acceptance and sales points (systems for self-sufficiency in electricity) and promoting new sustainable solutions in the automation of electricity systems and reducing energy poverty.
