Promoting sustainable energy development of agricultural holdings and tourist destinations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

ENE-GROWTH<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Environmental concerns are of great importance today. Energy management is also an important concern. The European Union is therefore working to reduce the negative effects of climate change and to create a common energy policy. The EU has plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and is also facing increasing dependence on energy imports. For this reason, it is necessary to find its own alternative energy sources that would reduce this dependence and ensure the continuity and stability of energy supply. Slovenia has committed itself to acting in such a way that the regulations of the climate and energy package encourage innovation and act as an instrument for further economic growth while respecting the principles of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

The ENE-RAST project is focused primarily on the rural population, with the main emphasis on agricultural holdings with or without complementary activities (e.g. farms - livestock farming, processing, production of vegetables and flowers in greenhouses, winemaking, etc.), as well as services (providers of accommodation capacities, tourist facilities, etc.).<\/p>\n

The ENE-RAST project is taking place in the municipalities of Kidri\u010devo, Hajdina, Ptuj Municipality, Markovci, Dornava, Jur\u0161inci, Destrnik and Trnovska vas. Experts with knowledge, experience and references in this field will participate in the project. Stakeholders within the project and outside the project are provided with appropriate professional assistance for the most efficient and cost-effective introduction of UE and RES into their agricultural holdings, complementary activities, tourism facilities and households.<\/p>\n
