The project started on 1.1.2024 and will last 30 months. The aim of the project is to promote the visibility of various local and national knowledge, strategies and solutions. To familiarize suppliers with the use of untapped renewable resources. We will also provide them with more detailed information on efficiency measures and their simplified local distribution, namely when applied at the company level. The aim is to bring together private, public and especially small and medium-sized enterprises to cooperate and exchange experiences, capacities and resources, which will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and an increase in the use of renewable energy sources with maximum efficiency.
The main objective of the project is to increase the share of renewable energy in the Danube region among SMEs with high energy intensity and by building capacities for sustainable energy use. The Connectivity Transition Plan, the Energy Centres for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (GEKOS) and the transnational database can fill the coordination gap and seamlessly connect SMEs and renewable energy market players.
