The LOGREENER platform is ready to support local communities in planning their energy transition

We are pleased to announce that the project tool LOGREENER officially published, publicly available and easily downloadable at:

The LOGREENER tool is based on the upgraded results of three successful projects – COMPOSE, PRISM and LOCAL4GREEN – and brings together their good practices to support local and regional efforts for the green transition:

✅ COMPOSE provides step-by-step guidance for more effective planning, implementation and monitoring of sustainable energy projects – including planning tools, databases, good practices and a rich library of resources.
✅ PRISM offers methods and tools for modeling renewable energy scenarios and assessing their feasibility at the local level.
✅ LOCAL4GREEN focuses on the development of local tax policies to promote the use of renewable energy sources, with concrete examples of the use of taxes and incentives to support the energy transition.

The LOGREENER tool is a user-friendly online platform that guides you through an efficient from bottom to top the process of developing a sustainable energy plan based on the COMPOSE integrated model.

🔍 What does the new tool offer?

• Practical tools, guidelines and the latest policies for sustainable energy planning.
• Integration of tools for modeling RES scenarios (PRISMI) and green tax policies (LOCAL4GREEN).
• Case studies from Mediterranean countries and new content with examples of good practices from all three projects.

The LOGREENER platform is designed for development planners, local community professional services, and other stakeholders – such as energy and development agencies – who actively participate in the planning and implementation of local and regional green transitions.
